Since 2011, Amanda Reed Weddings + Events has been bringing big ideas, beautiful design, and a whole lot of personality to celebrations across Northwest Arkansas and far beyond. What began as Amanda’s next chapter in event planning quickly grew into a full-service wedding and event firm built around one simple idea: every celebration deserves to feel extraordinary – and entirely its own.
Based in Northwest Arkansas, our team specializes in full-scale wedding planning, event design, and event management for couples who want more than a pretty wedding. We want to know your story, understand what makes you you, and then create an experience around it that your guests will still be talking about long after the last dance.
Our design philosophy is intentional, imaginative, and never one-size-fits-all. We love a breathtaking floral installation, a beautifully layered tablescape, and a dance floor worth writing home about = but the details matter most when they tell your story. From the grand gesture to the tiniest finishing touch, we believe the magic lives in the unexpected.
And while the pretty is important, the behind-the-scenes matters just as much.
We are planners, designers, problem-solvers, negotiators, timeline obsessives, professional troubleshooters, and, occasionally, magicians. We know that a truly luxurious experience isn’t just about how beautiful a wedding looks. It’s about how effortlessly it flows. Our job is to anticipate the details, manage the moving pieces, and make sure our clients can be fully present for the moments they’ve spent so much time dreaming about.
At the heart of Amanda Reed Weddings is an incredible team of planners and designers who bring their own talents, personalities, and expertise to the table. We are serious about our work—but not always about ourselves. We believe in working hard, laughing often, supporting our vendor friends, hyping up our couples, and making the planning process actually fun.
Because here’s the thing:
We don’t just want to plan your wedding. We want to become part of the story.
The champagne will eventually be gone. The flowers will eventually fade. The dance floor will eventually be cleared.
But the people, the memories, the unexpected moments, and the feeling of that day?

Amanda Reed
Amanda Reed is the founder and creative force behind Amanda Reed Weddings & Events, a luxury wedding planning and design firm based in Northwest Arkansas. Since launching the company in 2011, Amanda has built a reputation for producing celebrations that are sophisticated, impeccably considered, and never without a little personality.
A Central Arkansas native who has called Northwest Arkansas home for more than two decades, Amanda brings her background in Interior Design, an obsessive eye for detail, and a healthy appreciation for the unexpected to every event she creates. Her approach is equal parts refined and relaxed—pairing thoughtful design with exceptional hospitality and the kind of behind-the-scenes precision that allows her clients to be fully present for the moments that matter most.
For Amanda, luxury isn’t simply about abundance. It’s about intention. It’s the perfect composition, the unexpected detail, the beautifully timed surprise, and the feeling your guests carry with them long after the last dance. She believes the most memorable celebrations should look beautiful, feel effortless, and tell a story that could belong to no one else.
And then there’s Amanda herself.
Part creative director, part professional problem-solver, part contract queen, and full-time hype girl, she brings an unmistakable energy to everything she touches. When she’s not producing weddings, you’ll find her embracing her favorite title – Momager – cheering from the sidelines at football games and auditions. Somewhere in between, she’s hunting down the latest sneaker drop, rearranging a designer pillow or two, planning her next coastal escape, and making a strong case for why every outfit is better with a little Amanda Reed Pink.
After all these years, Amanda still considers it an extraordinary privilege to be invited into the most meaningful moments of her clients’ lives. Because beneath the beautiful tablescapes, grand entrances, perfectly executed timelines, and unforgettable surprises is something much simpler: a genuine love for people and a commitment to serving them exceptionally well.
Madi Shell
Meet Madi! Also known as Amanda’s other half or “chaos controller,” Madi is the Brand Manager for ARW. She is our incredibly patient and eager office boss and oversees a little bit of everything in the company. Anything from coming up with all our wedding graphics to somehow always “knowing a guy” when we need last-minute orders placed. She organizes all the chaos that naturally follows the team around and is always there to read our minds and jump in headfirst, no matter what. Madi handles the office behind the scenes as well as keeping Amanda organized and standing. She is one of our best designers and occasionally jumps in to handle private event planning (when she has time). She’s also not afraid to call us on our own BS, which we often need, and we appreciate the humility.
We love Madi, and ARW would be in shambles without her keeping us all in line!
Kolby Bowman
Meet Kolby Bowman—a proud Arkansan with a heart full of Southern charm and a knack for making magic happen! As an MBA student at the University of Arkansas (graduating this May!), Kolby is all about mixing hustle with heart. His love for creating unforgettable moments shines through his role as a Wedding + Event Planner with Amanda Reed Weddings.
Since 2023, Kolby’s been turning “I do” dreams into stunning realities. What started as a fun way to work with the sweetest brides and flex his entrepreneurial muscles has turned into a full-blown career he absolutely lives for. Kolby doesn’t just plan weddings—he curates vibes, designs elegance, and sprinkles a little extra glam/fun wherever he goes.
When he’s not busy being the life of the party (or your wedding), Kolby loves hyping up the fabulous ladies of ARW, supporting his dream team of vendors-turned-friends across the country, and living his so-called “lavish lifestyle.” Ready for Kolby to design and deliver the wedding of your dreams? Terri Court
Let us be the first to introduce THE Terri Court! Also affectionately referred to as Ms T, Big T, Lil T, just plain “T,” even Judy (IYKYK), she came to us from her lifelong home of Texarkana, Texas. We joke (but it’s true) that she can always find a Texarkana connection with anyone she meets!
Terri has a background in all things event related: design, decorating, catering and management. Her years of experience in all of these areas come together to create exceptionally managed and beautifully designed weddings and events.
T’s hobbies include wedding planning, spending time with her family, wedding planning, hanging out with her T-town besties, wedding planning, reading, wedding planning, decorating, wedding planning, eating Chicken Salad Chick with her work besties, wedding planning….You get the idea!
Terri is completely dedicated to this team and her clients, often referring to her work as her “dream job.”
Kenzie Johnson
Kenzie Johnson has a love for creating beautiful celebrations and unforgettable moments. She has fully immersed herself in the wedding world, turning her passion for planning into her full-time career and loving every minute of it.
With an eye for the little details, a heart for celebrating love, Kenzie is ready to bring your vision to life while making the planning process feel just as special as the big day itself. Her goal is to make your wedding feel uniquely you and create memories you’ll cherish forever.
When she isn’t checking things off her planning to-do list, she’s probably traveling, wandering around a cute flea market, or spending time on the lake with her son Milo and husband Maddy.

Carly Kelly
Meet Carly — your planner, problem-solver, and professional wedding-day hype woman.
Carly blends organization, creativity, and heart to bring beautiful, seamless celebrations to life. She’s the kind of planner who sweats the small stuff so you don’t have to, from timeline perfection to thoughtful details that make your day feel deeply personal.
Carly believes weddings should feel timeless, romantic, and full of meaning, not stressful. Known for her calm presence, sense of humor, and ability to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, she’s dedicated to creating events that feel elevated, intentional, and unforgettable.
When she’s not planning weddings, you’ll probably find Carly spending time with her husband and son, cozy at home reading a good book, or playing tennis. Planning your wedding should feel exciting, supported, and a little magical and Carly would love to make that happen with you!
Brooklyn Myrick
Meet Brooklyn Myrick! Brooklyn is our not-so-classic Okie girl with a love for bold details, big energy, and celebrations that feel anything but ordinary. Originally, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, she made her way to NWA to attend the University of Arkansas — and quickly fell in love with Fayetteville, where she now calls home.
Brooklyn graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and a minor in Event Management, building a strong foundation in wedding and event planning. Her journey with the ARW Team began as an internship her Senior year of college and evolved into a full-time role as a planner for the team. Brooklyn says she has been so grateful to get to work with such a dedicated and encouraging team who have helped develop her into the planner that she is today!
When she’s not daydreaming about weddings or new events, you can find Brooklyn with a Dr Pepper in hand, cuddled up with her dog Goose, and rewatching her comfort show Gilmore Girls (yes—she can quote it)! You will always find her in cheetah print or polka dots!
With a couple of years planning social events under her sleeve, Brooklyn is excited to dive into the world of weddings, and make your wildest wedding dreams come true! Brooklyn is truly your biggest fan, you may even find her tearing up at your vows or your first dances!
Rachel Scheetz
Rachel is a Texas girl with a lifelong dream of becoming a wedding planner and a love for all things creative. Originally from the DFW area, Rachel made her way to Fayetteville to attend the University of Arkansas, where she quickly found a love for both the area and the wedding industry.
Rachel graduated with a BS in Hospitality Management and a minor in Event Planning. Her love for weddings started when she was just eight years old, and she’s so excited that a childhood dream has turned into the career she always hoped for. Rachel joined the Amanda Reed Weddings team last August and has loved every minute of learning, growing, and being part of such a talented team.
When she’s not working on weddings, Rachel is usually keeping busy with one of the many kids she babysits, cooking, or watching hockey. She has always had a passion for art and design and loves finding ways to bring creativity and personality into everything she does.
